Through our activities and initiatives, MAFSM is committed to supporting sound floodplain and stormwater management in Maryland. 

On April 7th, 2011 MAFSM will proctor the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM®) exam from 9 am - noon at the Michael Baker, Inc. office in Linthicum, MD. 

In order to take the exam, you must complete the application for the CFM Program which is available on the ASFPM website www.floods.org under certification. The fee for taking the exam is $100 for ASFPM members and $340 for non-members. You may submit application for membership at the same time as applying for the exam.

You must submit your completed application along with the appropriate fee to ASFPM by March 24, 2011.
