We’re glad you could join us in Union Bridge on June 25, 2022 – almost 50 years to the day that the Flood Zone Brewery was impacted by Hurricane Agnes – for an afternoon of history, flood mitigation and good brews.

Check out our Facebook event page.

In 1972, the Flood Zone Brewery was known as the Myers Super Thrift.  The store had several feet of water in it during Agnes.  The photos below, courtesy of The Carroll County Times, Carroll Record, and The Post, show the grocery store in the aftermath of Hurricane Agnes.  Food was auctioned off and what was left was thrown away.  The high water mark from the flooding is shown in the Flood Zone Brewery.
